We've had the privilege of a week-long visit with an intriguing demo C# mandolin from the woodbench of retired chemistry professor, Dr. David Cohen in the JazzMando Research Lab. The good doctor is world renown for his exhaustive research on the fundamentals of sound and mandolin construction, but what you may not already be aware of is his ability to craft a premier instrument.
