Sage Wisdom

"Good improvisation communicates harmonic progression melodically. Effective melodies manipulate harmonic content through the use of guide tones and preparatory gravity notes, masterfully woven in systematic tension, release, and transparent harmonic definition."

Okay, F-body style or A-body?...

The chronic dilemma of every mandolinist starting or branching out in their personal and perpetual quest for the cure for M.A.S., whether to be satisfied with the Spartan dignity of the "A," or the Florentine flourish of a more expensive "F" body shape.
