Sage Wisdom

"Good improvisation communicates harmonic progression melodically. Effective melodies manipulate harmonic content through the use of guide tones and preparatory gravity notes, masterfully woven in systematic tension, release, and transparent harmonic definition."

August 5, 2008 | August Mandolin Sessions

Our second installment in our recent MandolinSessions.com series on accompaniment chords, "Fresh Comp'n Part 2: 'ii V7'"is now up and online.
