We're perpetually fascinated by the electric magic of Tennessee builder Jonathan Mann. His latest eye candy, this licorice SEM-8 double cutaway. Maple top with matching black body and headstock, its gold hardware and block pearl inlay stick out like jewelry on a black-gowned star actress on Oscar night. We understand Jon is exploring some new prototypes, a flatback two-poin Manndola next, and maybe a 5 string EM-5 'dola.
